Salt Cay Community Ferry

This small passenger ferry runs on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday between Deane's Dock on Salt Cay and South Dock on Grand Turk. Each one-way trip takes about one hour to cover the 8-mile (13 km) distance. It’s advised that you call ahead to confirm the time and service (due to ocean conditions).

Typically, the ferry only takes passengers on Wednesday and Friday. Passage on Mondays is dependent on cargo load, as the ferry also functions as a supply ferry for transporting goods from Grand Turk to Salt Cay.

The ferry lands at Deane's Dock on Salt Cay. Return tickets are $15 for adults, children are free (2025 price). The cost of a one-way ticket is $8.
