DJ Dayoh
Born and raised in the Turks and Caicos Islands, Michael Burchill (DJ Dayoh) is a private events and wedding DJ who has been deejaying in the islands since 2007. He is a popular choice for local and destination weddings on Providenciales.
Dayoh has a music collection of over 100,000 songs covering the major genres of the last 60 years, and offers his clients a premium DJ set up with top-line equipment.
About the Artist
Dayoh grew up with a love of music, influenced by Caribbean genres like soca and dancehall and the sounds of classic rock bands that played on the stereo in his childhood home. His earliest gigs were at the now-closed Jimmy’s Dive Bar in Ports of Call, where he used to stack his mixer on cases of beer and plug it into the house system to play to the crowd.
Since going pro in 2011, DJ Dayoh has carved out a name for himself as Provo’s primary wedding and special events DJ. He has performed sets at high-end resorts, such as Amanyara and COMO Parrot Cay Resort, and for celebrity audiences that include Taylor Swift, Prince, and Mary J. Blige.
He likes to create his own remixes that weave old anthems into new pop hits. Think Kygo meets Chaka Kahn, or Dua Lipa meets Backstreet Boys.
Dayoh also appeared on the reality TV series The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip as a concierge at a luxury villa.

Because he primarily performs for private events and functions, you won’t spot DJ Dayoh spinning at the local nightclubs and lounges. Private birthday parties typically book him a few weeks in advance. For weddings, it’s recommended to book with him as early as possible, as he generally books weddings eight months in advance.
DJ Dayoh also deejays for corporate functions—past performances include brand parties for Netflix and Sports Illustrated.
