Grace Bay Beach on the island of Providenciales is home to many of the larger resorts and hotels, as the world-famous coast is truly exceptional. The smaller beaches and cays are also spectacular and tend to be much more secluded, so they should definitely be considered.
Many of the resorts in the Turks and Caicos provide a luxury experience, and there’s a range of all-inclusive choices as well. There are some great properties for families and kids, including the expansive and all-inclusive Beaches and hotels that offer kids clubs. There’s only one truly adult-only resort in the country (Club Med Turkoise), yet several properties have pools and areas where children are not allowed.

Amanyara is an exclusive luxury resort found on the remote western coast of Providenciales. An essential part of what makes Amanyara an outstanding property is its location. Fronting the resort is the Northwest Point Marine National Park, and the beautiful Malcolm’s Road Beach leads off to the north. To the south is the Frenchman's Creek and Pigeon Pond Nature Reserve, which is a complex protected area of mangrove wetlands, coastlines, ponds, and small barrier cays.
Amanyara provides a high level of service and amenities. Onsite is excellent dining, a spa, beach and water sports amenities, and tennis courts. The accommodations are standalone villas nestled in verdant vegetation, which gives the resort a secluded and private atmosphere. This property is popular with celebrities.

H2O Life Style Resort is a small, boutique, and contemporary hotel on quiet Long Bay Beach. The property is largely geared towards those who appreciate water sports. Long Bay is primarily home to villas and residences. The only other resort on the beach is the Shore Club, which is likewise a unique and beautiful property.
As a resort that especially caters to water sports such as kiteboarding, e-foiling, and paddleboarding, the resort has trained staff onsite, secure storage facilities for equipment, and a very wide selection of rental equipment. There are also sailboats for guests to use.
Salterra Resort & Spa
The exclusive Salterra Resort & Spa on South Caicos is one of the newest luxury properties in the Turks and Caicos. The resort is opening for 2025 and is accepting reservations at this time. Salterra will have six onsite dining and bar options, a beautiful spa, and is the only property on the beautiful Salterra Beach.
South Caicos is exceptional for those who seek seclusion or love water sports and the outdoors. The fishing, both offshore and bonefishing in the flats, is world-class. There are incredible coasts and waterways to kayak or paddleboard in, and the scuba diving and snorkeling are exquisite. Much of the island is undeveloped, and there are miles of deserted coasts and beaches to explore.
Seven Stars Resort & Spa
The elegant Seven Stars is located in the center of Grace Bay. It is a well-rounded luxury property, making it a great choice for those visiting the Turks and Caicos for the first time. Onsite are the excellent Seven fine dining restaurant, The Farm, and The Deck, which offers a beachfront bar and dining. Amenities at the resort include Hobie Cat sailboats, kayaks, paddleboards, and a large pool.
Seven Stars is one of the best resort choices for those who do not want to rent a car, yet want to explore the dining and shopping of Grace Bay. Many restaurants and shopping plazas are within a 10-minute walk, as is the Graceway Gourmet supermarket.
Ocean Club West
Ocean Club West is one of the best beachfront values on Grace Bay, especially for those who do not want to rent a car. Onsite are all of the amenities you would expect at a resort, including a spa, dining, tennis, and non-powered water sports equipment. There’s also a beautiful lagoon-like pool. You can choose from one-bedroom studios or one-, two-, and three-bedroom suites.
A number of restaurants and shopping options are within walking distance of Ocean Club West, including Graceway Gourmet.
Ambergris Cay Resort
The remote Ambergris Cay Resort offers perhaps the greatest privacy and seclusion of any property in the Turks and Caicos. The resort is on a private island found a fair distance from the other main islands in the country on the southeastern edge of the Caicos Banks. There’s a selection of managed homes across the cay and small standalone villas near the main resort complex and restaurant.
Transit to Ambergris Cay is via aircraft. The cay has the Ambergris Cay Airport (MBAC), which is the longest private paved runway in the Caribbean or Lucayan Archipelago. Visitors must first clear customs and immigration in Providenciales. For those arriving via an airline, the resort operates flights from the Atlantic Aviation FBO at the Providenciales International Airport (PLS).
Ambergris Cay is an excellent choice for those seeking an upscale and secluded stay. Dining is limited to what the resort provides, either through their restaurant and beach clubhouse or a private chef service that can be arranged for some of the larger properties. The island has very limited development and is quite scenic. Water sports, fishing, and hiking are exceptional. The nature reserve of Little Ambergris Cay, which offers some of the finest coastal landscapes in the Turks and Caicos, is a short boat trip away.
Sailrock Resort
Sailrock Resort on South Caicos is another excellent luxury accommodation choice for those seeking nature and tranquility. This small resort is located on the highly scenic northern peninsula of South Caicos near Bell Sound Lagoon and Plandon Cay Cut. The property has access to the windswept Long Beach and the sheltered and calm Cove Beach on Bell Sound.
Sailrock Resort offers a range of villa accommodations, including beautiful beachfront contemporary Caribbean villas, each with its own private pool. Dining at the resort is provided at The Great House Restaurant—which offers breathtaking views over the lagoon—and the casual beachfront Cove Restaurant + Beach Bar.
South Caicos is a unique island with limited development. COMO Parrot Cay Resort
The COMO Parrot Cay Resort on Parrot Cay is one of the few private island resorts in the Turks and Caicos. The island is located in the beautiful chain of small cays between Providenciales and North Caicos. Parrot Cay has long been a retreat of the rich and famous, and there’s an extensive list of celebrities who have vacationed at the resort.
An incredible beach and sandbar system leads off the northeastern end of Parrot Cay near the main resort. There’s a full complement of amenities, including several dining options, a spa, tennis courts, water sports, and more. Accommodations range from rooms in the resort to resort-managed expansive villas.
Transit to Parrot Cay is via a small passenger ferry, which typically travels between the cay and a dock located at Leeward on Providenciales. Transit time is a little over 20 minutes.
Point Grace
Point Grace, located on the slightly defined Forbes Point along Grace Bay Beach, offers more of a boutique hotel atmosphere than many of the other properties on the world-famous coast. The hotel isn’t as large as many other resorts in the area and is also on one of the less developed sections of beach. Consequently, both features lend it a bit more seclusion and quiet, both in the resort and on the beach. The intimate setting makes the resort a great choice for weddings and honeymoons.
There’s a spa onsite, as well as Grace's Cottage (a gourmet restaurant) and Hutching’s, which offers more casual dining. Like many other resorts, paddleboards, kayaks, and small sailboats are available for guests to use.
The Shore Club
The Shore Club is an elegant luxury resort on Long Bay Beach on Providenciales. It has what some consider to be the most Instagrammable design and décor of any Turks and Caicos resort. Along with being a full-featured luxury resort, the property also offers some excellent dining, with SUI-REN, The Almond Tree, Sea Grapes, and several bars. The resort is part of the Hartling Group of properties, and a complimentary shuttle service is provided to the sister resorts of The Palms and The Sands.
Long Bay Beach is a beautiful coast located on the southeast side of Providenciales about a 10-minute drive from Grace Bay. Long Bay differs from Grace Bay in that it’s on the shallow and expansive Caicos Banks, so the water depth at the beach remains limited for a distance offshore. The coast is great for wind sports such as kiteboarding and sailing.
Grace Bay Club
Grace Bay Club was one of the first luxury resorts on Grace Bay and continues to deliver high levels of service and comfort. The property has a spa, an elegant beachfront restaurant and bar, a casual beachfront restaurant, several pools (one of which is adult-only), an expansive fitness center, tennis courts, a kids camp, and water sports amenities.
Rooms available at the Grace Bay Club range from one-bedroom studios to multi-bedroom suites. The beachfront Infiniti Restaurant & Raw Bar is one of the best dining spots on the island as well as a top choice for drinks, and has a beautiful and spacious outdoor setting.
