Al’s Rent a Car is one the main car rental companies on North Caicos. They offer car, van, SUV, and 4x4 rentals. Car rental pickup from the ferry port at Bellefield Landing is included.

In 2019, Al’s Rent a Car merged with two other North Caicos rental companies: Pelican Car Rentals and Nick’s Rent a Car, which were the two main other agencies on the island.

Rental Policies

Drivers must be a minimum of 25 years old to rent a car, with a valid driving license. A valid credit card is also required to rent.

Customers must return cars at the same fuel level as when picked up, or they will be charged for fuel and a surcharge.

Economy class cars start at $75 per day, once all taxes and non-optional fees are included.

Driving Tips

Exercise caution when driving on unsurfaced roads. Many roads on North and Middle Caicos are not paved, and cars can easily become stuck in sandy roads. Make sure you have a working cell phone and plenty of water in case you get stuck, as some areas are several miles from a local settlement.
