Brilliant Studios specializes in wedding, event, and family photography.

Brilliant Studios is a photography company based in Providenciales that specializes in wedding photography, underwater photography, and couples’ portraits. The studio’s owners David Gallardo and Anita Marcus have been photographing the islands, the people on them, and the life forms in their vibrant surrounding waters for more than 20 years.

Brilliant Studios has extensive experience capturing proposals and engagements, honeymoons, weddings, vow renewals, and countless other special moments, including of course family photos.

Their wedding photos have been featured in publications and blogs around the world, including The New York Times, BBC News, AP News, Caribbean Journey Weddings, Destination Weddings, and Martha Stewart Weddings.

Wedding Photography

The photographers at Brilliant Studios shoot weddings of all sizes and types in the islands. They have a natural, minimally-edited style of photography that lets the beauty of the natural landscape and couple shine through.

The studio sells customizable packages, so prices vary depending on your specific needs. For larger weddings, their rates typically include a pre-wedding meeting with the photographer, drone photography, and credit towards a photo album (at additional cost, Brilliant Studios prints wedding books for their clients with all the best photos from their special day). They also have an all-inclusive package that covers rehearsal dinners, yacht excursions, and other events leading up to the big day.

If you’re looking to add video to your wedding photography, Brilliant Studios can also help you book a videography team to capture your wedding.

Trash The Dress Photography

Wedding photography in the Turks and Caicos with Brilliant Studios.

Trash the dress shoots are becoming a popular photography add-on for newlyweds. In a nutshell, the couple gives the clothes they got married in—dress, tuxedo, and all—one last wear before ‘trashing’ them by jumping into the sea. The idea behind trash the dress shoots is that they paint a realistic, no-fuss picture of a couple’s love story—no need to worry about hair, makeup, or a wrinkled train.

Brilliant Studios’ trash the dress photo shoots typically take place in the milieu of Providenciales’ crystal-clear water, limestone rock formations, and white sand beaches. Their amphibious shots—half above water, half below it—and aerial drone pictures make for great memories after the wedding. These sessions last two to three hours.

Commercial Photography

While Brilliant Studios is best known for its wedding photography, they also specialize in commercial photography. Their commercial photo portfolio includes work done for brands, real estate, hotels, and vacation rental villas.

Booking Your Shoot

When it comes to booking wedding photography in the Turks and Caicos, you want to secure your vendors as early as possible. There are only a handful of wedding photographers in the islands, all of whom can book up quickly throughout the year.

The same applies to other types of photography, which keep the studio busy year-round. To book Brilliant Studios for your wedding or special event, be sure to get in touch with plenty of notice to ensure the photographers can accommodate you.

Location

While you can book your photo shoot online, you can find the Brilliant Studios Gallery in the Saltmills Plaza, a popular outdoor shopping center located on Grace Bay Road in central Grace Bay. At the gallery, you’ll find a selection of prints available that range from landscapes to abstract art, as well as underwater images. The gallery is a short walking distance from most resorts in the Grace Bay area.
