Grace Bay Market
Allegro Road, Grace Bay, ProvidencialesGrace Bay Market is a small retail complex in the Grace Bay area. The site is home to the Turks Kebab and Pork Shack restaurants, as well as several smaller shops and refreshment establishments. Like many of the tourism-related retail plazas in the Turks and Caicos, Grace Bay Market features an open-air layout, with several small buildings and huts.
Fronting Grace Bay Market is a giant Adirondack chair. This conspicuous piece of furniture was originally made to promote the Windvibes water sports competition, which was once held on Long Bay Beach.
Alverna’s Craft Market, which was once a small collection of hexagonal huts that sold arts, crafts, and painted Haitian sheet metal sculptures, has been incorporated into Grace Bay Market, and no longer exists.
Dining
The complex is becoming a great spot for casual dining. Onsite are three restaurants. Turks Kebab serves Turkish, Greek, and Mediterranean fare in a casual outdoor setting. Pork Shack offers a menu of budget-minded and take-out options, including wings, sandwiches, tacos, and more. Provoli Pizza is a new pizzeria serving classic italian takes on pizza.
