Water Taxi to the Caicos Cays and Floating Bars
Turks Ventures operates a hop-on hop-off water taxi service from Providenciales to several popular destinations, including Little Water Cay, Half Moon Bay, and Noah's Ark (a floating bar).
The water taxi service is a fun, easy, and cost-effective way to see some of the spectacular ocean and sights of the Caicos Cays, and at your own pace.
Pack your own cooler and snacks and join Turks Ventures for the short ride over to your first stop. The hop-on, hop-off service allows guests to visit multiple attractions, and the boat runs about every hour.
Clear kayak Eco-Adventures
One of the top activities on a visit to the Turks and Caicos is a mangrove wetland eco-tour, and Turks Ventures clear bottom kayak adventure is the perfect way to do it. The trip starts at beautiful Leeward Beach, and then makes the short hop over Leeward Channel to Mangrove Cay, which is part of the Princess Alexandra Nature Reserve. The tour then leads into the primary tidal estuary at Mangrove Cay, where wildlife abounds.
It’s common to see turtles, stingrays, starfish, colorful fish, upside-down jellyfish, conch, and juvenile sharks. In the low mangrove trees are birds that may include green herons, brown pelicans, cattle egrets, and many other coastal and wading birds.
Clear kayaking is easy to learn, and perfect for most ages. Personal flotation vests are provided, and all tours are guided, making the eco-tour easy, fun, and interesting for everyone.
Clear Kayak Photo Shoots
Want to get some amazing shots of your vacation? Turks Ventures offers a unique clear bottom kayak drone photo shoot. The crew at Turk Ventures knows some great spots, where the water is clear with a white sandy bottom, and will help get an amazing shot.
Subwinging and Tubing
Another fun activity is one of the wake tow water sports. The all-around favorite is tubing, where an inflatable is towed behind a powerboat. The captain can tailor the intensity of the ride, so it can be as gentle or wild as desired. Tubing is great for all ages.
The subwing is an option for those that want an underwater view. A snorkeler can hang onto a small wing that is towed behind the boat at slow speed, and the snorkeler is able to cant and steer the wing to allow for underwater diving, spinning, and gliding over the reef or clear sandy bottom of the ocean. This sport can be quite rewarding for snorkelers that are comfortable in the water, and is an unforgettable way to experience the beautiful barrier reefs in the Turks and Caicos.
Flyboarding
Flyboarding is a unique and exciting water sport where water is jetted to a small surf-like board, and riders can stand on this board (with the help of boats), and jet out of the water up to heights of 30 feet (9 m)! It’s possible to soar and dive, much like a jet pack!
The flyboard is powered from a jetski which is controlled by a skilled instructor, and the power output is carefully adjusted according to the skill level and wish of the rider. When learning, the jet output is set low, and then increased as riders get the hang of flyboarding.
