The Beach and Snorkeling
The Windsong is situated at the Bight Reef, which is the transition point between Grace Bay Beach and the Bight Beach. This unique location is steps away from two of the country’s best beaches, and the most popular beach snorkeling site on the island directly fronts the resort.
The Bight Reef
The Bight Reef (also known as Coral Gardens) starts right off the beach, with a system that leads off-shore for a few hundred feet. The reef is home to coral and large numbers of reef fish, turtles, and stingrays, and is the most popular snorkeling spot on the island.
Grace Bay Beach
Grace Bay Beach starts directly to the east of the resort. This area of the world-famous beach has some occasional small rocks near the beach, yet is typically calmer than much of the coast.
As the expansive Beaches Turks and Caicos all-inclusive resort is near The Windsong, the beach in the area can get a bit crowded at times.
The Bight Beach
Continuing to the west from the property is the Bight Beach, a coast that offers a wide white sand beach, calm and clear water, and lush seagrass beds off-shore. There are fewer hotels on the Bight Beach, so it’s consequently less crowded.
