The Beach and Snorkeling

The Windsong is situated at the Bight Reef, which is the transition point between Grace Bay Beach and the Bight Beach. This unique location is steps away from two of the country’s best beaches, and the most popular beach snorkeling site on the island directly fronts the resort.

The Bight Reef

The Bight Reef (also known as Coral Gardens) starts right off the beach, with a system that leads off-shore for a few hundred feet. The reef is home to coral and large numbers of reef fish, turtles, and stingrays, and is the most popular snorkeling spot on the island.

Grace Bay Beach

Grace Bay Beach starts directly to the east of the resort. This area of the world-famous beach has some occasional small rocks near the beach, yet is typically calmer than much of the coast.

As the expansive Beaches Turks and Caicos all-inclusive resort is near The Windsong, the beach in the area can get a bit crowded at times.

The Bight Beach

Continuing to the west from the property is the Bight Beach, a coast that offers a wide white sand beach, calm and clear water, and lush seagrass beds off-shore. There are fewer hotels on the Bight Beach, so it’s consequently less crowded.

Frequently Asked Questions

What marine life can I see on the reef?
The Windsong is one of few resorts on Providenciales with great snorkeling right off its beachfront. The Bight Reef (Coral Gardens) supports a variety of sea life, from turtles, parrotfish, queen triggerfish, and sergeant majors to spiny lobsters and spotted moray eels. The Windsong beach stand rents snorkel gear to guests of the resort.
Can I host a wedding or special event at the Windsong?
Yes, the Windsong accommodates weddings and special events. The resort has a wedding and event coordinator who can book all the local vendors you need to host a dreamy beach wedding or corporate retreat, from photographers and videographers to DJs and caterers.
Are there on-site restaurants and shopping?
The Windsong has two restaurant options on-site—Jojo’s Café and Dune. Both are open all day. It also has a coffee bar, The Veranda, which is connected to a small shop selling local clothing, soaps, and jewelry. Shopping options in the area are limited. The stores and plazas selling clothing, souvenirs, and luxury goods in central Grace Bay are about a six-minute drive away.
Is a complimentary airport shuttle service provided?
Like most of the resorts on island, the Windsong does not have a free airport shuttle. You will need to book a taxi or rent a car to get to the hotel from Providenciales International Airport (PLS).
Are pets allowed?
No, pets are not allowed on the Windsong's property.
